Social Media Content Creator, Department of Computer Science
Want to show what student life at the Department of Computer Science is really like – the good, the challenging and the fun? And do you know what makes content work for a student audience on Instagram?
We are looking for a student to create authentic and engaging content for the Department of Computer Science’s Instagram channel, @csaudk .
You will work closely with the department’s Communications Manager but will be expected to independently identify stories and create content from everyday student life, events and activities at the department.
The position is from 15 November 2026, or as soon as possible thereafter.
Your working hours will be 5 hours pr. week.
What you will do
plan, film and edit Reels about student life, events, courses, projects and people at the department
create posts, memes and stories – from vox pops and interviews to behind-the-scenes content
create content for and about current students, as well as content that helps recruit new students nationally and internationally
create content showcasing student projects and research activities, communicating both student life and the academic work at the department
cover student-related events and activities and give students an authentic insight into life at the department
appear in front of the camera and act as a host when relevant
identify stories and trends that are relevant to current and prospective students
contribute ideas and inspiration to our social media planning
We are looking for someone who
is currently enrolled as a student
has experience creating content specifically for social media
can independently film and edit short-form video content such as Instagram Reels
has experience with Canva or similar tools
is comfortable approaching and interviewing fellow students and appearing on camera
can work independently and take responsibility for developing an idea from concept to published content
is fluent in English; Danish is an advantage but not a requirement
It is an advantage if you already have experience creating social media content in a university, student organisation or similar environment.

Formalities and salary range
Employment is in accordance with the collective agreement for student teachers at universities etc., concluded between the Ministry of Taxation and the Student Trade Union (Studenteransattes Landsforbund) and the Danish Medical Students' Association (Foreningen af Danske Lægestuderende).
