Experienced Bus Driver for the Northern Winter Season - Oulu

We are looking for professional and experienced bus drivers for our client's upcoming, busy winter season in Lapland, with Oulu serving as the base and starting point for the drives. Our client is a leading, well-known, and respected large-scale tourism and charter transport company in the north. Work begins in November-December according to the contract and lasts until the end of the season, estimated until March-April.

The drives starting from Oulu are very diverse and include, among other things, magnificent aurora borealis trips, tailored charter drives, and experiential transport for travelers. In this job, you will get to meet international as well as domestic customers and provide them with unforgettable, safe travel experiences. Due to the nature of the season, the work is shift-based, emphasizing evenings, nights, and weekends.

What do we expect from you?

Since we operate in the demanding winter conditions of the north and are responsible for passenger safety in all situations, we expect applicants to have a strong professional background. Previous solid experience in driving heavy vehicle fleets in winter conditions (especially on Lapland roads) is extremely important for the position.

Additionally, we require:

• A valid D driving license and professional driver competence (driver CPC completed).
• Excellent defensive driving skills and the ability to handle a large vehicle even in challenging weather and road conditions.
• A high level of customer service attitude – you are part of the travelers' experience and always meet customers with a smile.
• At least English language skills, preferably also Finnish language skills (other language skills are considered a great advantage when working with an international customer base).
• Good stress tolerance, flexibility, and the ability to act independently in changing situations.
