Commercial Truck Driver (Light and Medium Duty)
Your tasks
- Safely operate company trucks for the transportation and delivery of goods.
- Prioritize customer service care and respect
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods to designated locations.
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report mechanical faults promptly.
- Maintain vehicles in clean, safe and roadworthy condition.
- Monitor fuel consumption and maintain accurate trip and mileage records.
- Ensure goods are properly secured during transportation.
- Coordinate loading and unloading activities and verify delivery quantities.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including delivery notes and proof of delivery.
- Comply with company policies, traffic regulations and safety procedures.
- Communicate effectively with customers and management regarding delivery schedules and operational issues.
- Exercise due care in safeguarding company vehicles, equipment and customers goods.
- Undertake other transport-related responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Drivers license (minimum C)
- knowledge of road traffic regulations
- knowledge of safe and defensive driving practices
- should be able to read, write and communicate effectively in English

Years of experience
- Minimum 3 year of professional driving experience and at least 1 to 2 years
- operating commercial trucks preferably in logistics, haulage, distribution, distribution, construction or other industries
