Senior Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities Understand clients’ requirements, budget and design preferences, and provide professional design recommendations.

Develop comprehensive interior design concepts covering space planning, style, materials, colours, lighting, soft furnishings and detailing.

Select and manage materials, hardware, lighting, sanitary ware, customised furniture and other products based on project requirements.

Balance design quality, budget, project timeline and construction feasibility while identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.

Coordinate closely with clients, sales teams, project managers, contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

Review technical drawings, material samples and on-site implementation to ensure design quality and consistency.

Identify and resolve design or construction issues during project execution.

Keep up to date with market trends, new materials and supplier resources to continuously improve design standards and cost efficiency.

Requirements Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Environmental Design, Architecture or a related field.

At least 10 years of experience in interior design, preferably with experience in commercial renovation projects.

Strong ability to independently manage projects from concept development through to completion.

Excellent communication and client management skills, with the ability to translate client requirements into clear and practical design solutions.

Strong commercial and cost awareness, with the ability to optimise budgets without compromising key design requirements.

Detail-oriented, responsible and highly organised, with strong execution and problem-solving skills.

Good knowledge of Singapore interior renovation processes, commonly used materials, suppliers and relevant requirements will be an advantage.

Proficiency in relevant interior design software and technical drawing tools will be an advantage.
