Regulatory and Export Control Supervisor - Security Goods

For a growing technology company operating in global markets, a senior lawyer is required to lead the areas of regulation, compliance, and export control. This is a senior and independent role, involving broad responsibility for regulatory issues domestically and abroad, and supporting the business activity and the company's expansion into international markets.

Responsibilities:

• Leading the areas of regulation, compliance, and export control within the company.
• Managing licensing and approval processes with APY and working with the Ministry of Defense.
• Advising and supporting export control matters in the USA and international markets, including ITAR and EAR.
• Examining regulatory requirements for entering new countries and markets and supporting business activity accordingly.
• Conducting due diligence and risk assessments regarding business partners, suppliers, and third parties.
• Formulating and implementing regulation and compliance procedures and providing ongoing advice to various entities within the company.

Job Requirements:

• Lawyer with at least 7 years of relevant experience.
• Significant experience in the field of security regulation, accumulated in a security company and/or in a department specializing in supporting security companies in a leading law firm – Mandatory.
• Significant experience working with APY and the Ministry of Defense - Mandatory.
• Experience in export control and familiarity with US regulation, including ITAR and EAR.
• Experience in the fields of compliance, due diligence, and regulatory risk assessment.
• High business orientation and the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical solutions.
• English at a native speaker level.
• Experience in regulation regarding AI and emerging technologies - an advantage.
