Attorney for the Investment Department Legal Advisory Team

A leading institutional financial group is seeking an attorney to join the legal team supporting the group's investment activities in Israel and abroad. This is a significant legal-business role, involving close work with investment managers and senior officials in the organization, and supporting a wide range of investments and transactions in both public and non-public markets. The work includes exposure to a wide variety of assets, investments, and transactions in Israel and abroad, alongside direct work with investment professionals and senior managers, and the opportunity to develop legal-commercial expertise in the field of institutional investments.

Nature of the Role:

• Providing ongoing legal advice for investment activities in Israel and abroad
• Supporting investments in the capital market and securities
• Advising on issues of capital market, securities, and corporate governance
• Supporting alternative investments, including investment funds, Private Equity, private credit, real estate, and infrastructure
• Supporting and leading investment and financing transactions
• Drafting, editing, and negotiating investment, financing, and commercial agreements
• Handling regulatory issues concerning institutional entities and investment activities
• Supporting investment transactions and processes from the due diligence and legal structuring stage through to the completion of the transaction and ongoing management of the investment
• Working with external legal advisors, financial institutions, and professional entities in Israel and abroad.

Attorney with 4-6 years of experience in the profession:

• Experience from a leading law firm in one or more of the following areas: M&A / capital market / banking and finance / investment funds / financial regulation.
• Experience or significant exposure to transactions and activities in the capital market, securities, or finance—a significant advantage
• Previous experience in an institutional body, investment house, bank, insurance company, or other financial entity—a significant advantage
• Familiarity with the regulation applicable to institutional entities—an advantage
• Very high level of English, including the ability to draft and edit legal documents
• High-level negotiation skills
• Business orientation and the ability to understand and support complex transactions and processes
• Independence, high interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a professional, multi-interface environment
