Manager Structural Engineering

- Lead and manage the Structural Engineering Department and provide technical and managerial direction to the team.
- Manage structural design projects from concept design through detailed design and construction stages.
- Review and approve structural calculations, drawings, specifications, reports, and technical submissions.
- Ensure structural designs comply with relevant UAE codes, international standards, authority requirements, and project specifications.
- Coordinate closely with Architectural, MEP, Infrastructure, and other engineering disciplines.
- Manage project resources, workloads, priorities, and staff performance.
- Review project programmes, deliverables, and technical requirements to ensure timely completion.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities on structural engineering matters.
- Provide technical solutions to complex structural engineering issues.
- Attend design coordination, client, and project meetings as required.
- Monitor the quality of structural engineering deliverables and ensure compliance with company QA/QC procedures.
- Support business development activities, including technical proposals, fee proposals, and client presentations when required.
- Mentor and develop structural engineers and other technical staff.
- Identify project risks and implement appropriate technical and management solutions.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
- Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering is an advantage.
- 15+ years of relevant structural engineering experience with a consultancy.
- Proven experience in managing structural engineering teams and multidisciplinary projects.
- Strong experience in the design and delivery of major building and/or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
- Excellent knowledge of relevant UAE and international structural codes and standards.
