Delivery Driver

Your tasks

We are looking for a reliable, professional, and well-organized Driver to support our daily delivery operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the safe and timely delivery of orders while maintaining the quality and presentation of our products and providing excellent service to our clients. Key Responsibilities • Plan and organize daily delivery schedules in coordination with the line manager and store managers to ensure timely and efficient deliveries. • Safely load, secure, transport, and unload products, ensuring they are handled with care and delivered in excellent condition. • Deliver orders to clients, stores, and other designated locations within the agreed delivery timeframes. • Handle flowers and other delicate or premium products carefully during loading, transportation, and unloading. Experience in flower delivery is an advantage. • Communicate professionally and courteously with clients, store teams, and colleagues at all times. • Maintain accurate delivery records and prepare daily delivery reports, including completed deliveries, pending orders, and any delays or issues. • Ensure the assigned vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and ready for use at all times. • Monitor fuel levels and arrange refuelling as required. • Report vehicle faults, damage, or maintenance requirements promptly and coordinate necessary repairs with the line manager. • Follow the UAE traffic laws, company driving procedures, and road safety requirements at all times. • Maintain clear communication with the line manager regarding delivery progress, route changes, delays, and any issues that may affect the delivery schedule. • Support store operations with delivery-related tasks as required.

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications • Valid UAE driving license with experience driving both manual and automatic vehicles. • Minimum of 5 years of professional driving experience in delivery operations. • Good knowledge of Dubai and other key delivery areas in the UAE. • Good command of English, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally. • Familiarity with GPS navigation systems and mobile navigation applications. • Good organizational skills, punctuality, and the ability to manage multiple deliveries efficiently. • Professional appearance, a polite attitude, and a strong sense of responsibility. • Ability to handle delicate products carefully and follow delivery instructions accurately. • Reliable, flexible, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications • Previous experience delivering flowers, gifts, luxury products, or other delicate items. • Experience preparing delivery reports and coordinating daily delivery schedules.
