CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

The Construction Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects from pre-construction through completion. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, and contractual requirements. Key Responsibilities Plan, manage, and monitor construction projects from commencement to completion.

Develop project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and construction programs.

Coordinate architects, engineers, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.

Review drawings, specifications, contracts, method statements, and project documentation.

Monitor project progress, costs, quality, and productivity against approved targets.

Manage procurement, material deliveries, subcontractor performance, and site resources.

Identify project risks, delays, variations, and potential contractual issues, and implement appropriate corrective actions.

Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.

Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, applicable regulations, and quality requirements.

Enforce workplace health and safety requirements and promote a safe site environment.

Manage project variations, claims, and change orders where applicable.

Prepare progress reports, cost reports, schedules, and management updates.

Coordinate testing, inspections, commissioning, defects rectification, and project handover.

Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, authorities, and other stakeholders.

Ensure proper project close-out, including as-built drawings, warranties, manuals, and other handover documentation. Requirements 14 years of relevant construction experience , with proven experience managing projects from start to completion.

Experience managing contractors, subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and multidisciplinary project teams.

Strong knowledge of construction methods, project planning, contracts, cost control, and quality management.

Ability to interpret architectural, structural, M&E, and other technical drawings.

Strong project scheduling and coordination skills.

Good understanding of workplace safety requirements and construction regulations.

Strong leadership, problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Strong attention to detail with a results-oriented approach.
