Key Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, slice, and marinate ingredients (vegetables, meats, seafood) following standard recipes.

• Station Setup (Mise en Place): Organize work stations with required ingredients, utensils, and equipment before service starts.

• Cooking Assistance: Execute basic cooking tasks—such as boiling, grilling, frying, or baking under the supervision of senior chefs.

• Kitchen Hygiene & Food Safety: Maintain clean surfaces, sanitize station tools, enforce FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory rotation, and ensure correct food storage temperatures.

• Inventory & Maintenance: Monitor stock levels of ingredients at your station, report low inventory, and inspect equipment for safety and functional issues.
