Factory Operative

A&G Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Factory Operative for our client based just outside Reading. This is a varied role supporting the production and manufacturing of a range of high-quality products used across different sectors and industries. Experience using power tools is essential for this position. Own transport is essential due to the location.

Factory Operative – Temp to Perm (for the right candidate) Location: Outskirts of Reading Pay: £13.00/hour (increase after successful 3-month probation) Overtime: £19.50/hour Start: Immediate Hours: Monday–Thursday: 08:00–16:30 Friday: 08:00–15:30 Main Duties: Assist with daily manufacturing and production operations Work with a variety of materials and products Confidently use power tools and equipment Operate and maintain machinery (full training provided where required) Cut, assemble and handle products and materials Manage stock and incoming materials Maintain a clean and safe working environment Follow all health & safety procedures Ideal Candidate: Previous experience using power tools is essential Experience within a manufacturing, factory, production, construction, carpentry or similar environment Good attention to detail Experience operating machinery would be advantageous Reliable, hands-on and willing to learn Must have own transport due to the location This is a fantastic temp-to-perm opportunity with real potential for long-term progression in a friendly and supportive working environment.
