Senior Counsel

Responsibilities:

Provide expert legal advice and representation to clients across various sectors.

Handle litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, court appearances, and trial advocacy. Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents. Conduct legal research and provide well-reasoned opinions on diverse legal issues. Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and arbitration proceedings. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements for corporate and commercial transactions. Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service delivery. Work collaboratively with other team members on complex legal matters. Stay updated on evolving technological, legal, and regulatory frameworks affecting clients and the firm.

Requirements:

A minimum of three (3-5) years post-call experience in active legal practice. Strong litigation, corporate, and commercial law experience. Excellent legal research, analytical, and drafting skills. Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic legal environment. Exceptional organizational and time-management skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to manage client relationships. A proactive, problem-solving approach to legal issues. Ability to work independently while being a strong team player.
