Purchasing Director

Our Company, in the retail business of costume jewellery, tourist gifts and souvenirs has a vacancy for the position of “Purchasing Director”. Roles and Responsibilities are:

1. Develop, Improvise & Implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective purchasing.
2. Negotiate contracts & Manage relationships with key supplier and vendors to obtain best terms and conditions.
3. Oversee the procurement budget, compliance and ensure financial efficiency.
4. Lead, coach, develop a team of purchasing professionals to collaborate with other departments on purchasing needs.
5. Conduct regular market research to stay updated on industry trends.

Requirements:

1. Minimum 8 years of working experience specializing on our Company business products.
2. Able to work over weekends and on public holidays.
3. Able to be travel to Myanmar branch company to manage purchasing team operations.
4. Able to travel to China to liaise with manufacturers and suppliers on quality and design of purchasing items.
