Tasks

• Technical and disciplinary leadership, motivation, and further development of a production area with around 100 employees
• Independent coordination, monitoring, and structuring of capacities for the assigned production lines
• Consistent implementation and monitoring of defined key performance indicators (KPIs) as well as the creation of optimal, safe working conditions
• Initiation, preparation, and implementation of ratio projects and continuous improvement processes (KVP) in the painting area
• Ensuring compliance with applicable quality procedure instructions as well as internal guidelines for health, environment, and safety (GUSi)
• Guaranteeing structure, order, and cleanliness throughout the entire area of responsibility

Qualifications

• Completed technical university degree, training as a state-certified technician, industrial master (Industriemeister), or a comparable qualification with sound experience in the automotive industry
• Demonstrable, several years of leadership experience, strong communication skills, and an empathetic yet assertive approach to employees
• Good knowledge of business administration, Lean Management methods, and occupational safety
• Proficient use of MS Office and SAP; good written and spoken English skills for the international environment
• Class B driver's license
