*Job Summary*

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Full-time Manager to lead our retail team on weekdays (2-3 days) and at weekends, including Saturdays and Sundays. This energetic leader will oversee daily store operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong team management skills and have a passion for retail management. *Duties*

• Lead and supervise daily store operations during weekend shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and high standards of customer service
• Recruit, interview, and train new team members to foster a motivated and skilled workforce
• Cash handling, and bookkeeping activities accurately and efficiently
• Oversee merchandising strategies to maximize product visibility and sales potential
• Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions and inventory management
• Implement marketing initiatives to attract customers and boost sales performance
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, provide feedback, and promote professional development
• Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
• Monitor sales targets, prepare sales reports, and assist in budgeting processes to meet financial objectives
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, store policies, and procedures at all times
• Ensure cleanliness and tidiness of the place before, during and after the serving hours

*Experience*

• Proven supervising or managerial experience in retail or a similar customer-focused environment, food industry preferred
• Strong background in retail sales, merchandising, and store management
• Experience with recruiting, training & development of staff, as well as team leadership skills
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and bookkeeping practices
• Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of marketing strategies and sales management techniques
• Competence in administrative responsibilities
• Food handler Certificate is strongly preferred

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Burlington, ON L7R 3N2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Retail sales: 3 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Food Handler Certification (preferred)
