Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to lead complex financial system projects from planning through delivery. This role requires expertise in finance processes, IT systems, and stakeholder management to optimize finance operations through innovation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans with clear objectives, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for Finance IT system implementations and enhancements
• Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to align expectations and ensure project clarity throughout the lifecycle
• Lead end-to-end project phases including planning, requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and operational support for financial systems
• Apply functional expertise to maintain integrity and performance of ERP systems (Workday Finance, SAP, Oracle) and other finance IT platforms covering financials, procurement, budgeting, and related domains
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional development teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery
• Translate complex business requirements such as accounting standards, tax regulations, compliance, and risk management into actionable system specifications and technical solutions
• Ensure system designs comply with international regulatory standards including GDPR, HIPAA, and PDPA
• Manage external vendors for development, testing, and operations, ensuring high-quality deliverables and efficient resource use

Required competencies and certifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related fields
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in financial system implementations, including at least 3 full project cycles (e.g., ERP, billing platforms, payment systems)
• Strong project management skills demonstrated through hands-on experience with project management tools
• Proven track record managing and delivering projects involving mainstream ERP systems such as Workday Finance, SAP, or Oracle

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• PMP certification preferred to enhance project management capabilities
• Experience and skills in Workday Finance systems strongly preferred
• Proficiency in business-level English and Mandarin Chinese is a plus
• Understanding of financial industry regulations, data compliance, and information security standards is advantageous
