Your tasks

We are seeking an experienced Lifecycle Manager to provide operational and technical support for plant and Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure supporting Plant Control Systems (PCS) and Manufacturing Operations Management / Manufacturing Execution Systems (MOM/MES). The role ensures reliability, availability, and lifecycle management of critical plant infrastructure while collaborating with plant operations, vendors, and cybersecurity teams.

• Deliver daily technical support for plant and OT infrastructure environments supporting PCS and MOM/MES platforms to maintain operational continuity
• Administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, workstations, and endpoint systems to ensure stable plant operations
• Manage and support virtualization platforms, including Nutanix and VMware, to optimize infrastructure performance
• Diagnose and resolve infrastructure and connectivity issues involving TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switches, and related network components to maintain network stability
• Support industrial networking environments and remote-site infrastructure to secure and stabilize plant operations
• Collaborate with plant operations, vendors, and cybersecurity teams to resolve technical issues and implement infrastructure improvements
• Lead incident resolution, problem investigations, and infrastructure changes following IT service management processes to minimize production impact
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent recurring infrastructure incidents
• Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation, operational procedures, system configurations, and handover materials for knowledge transfer
• Ensure infrastructure changes are executed in a controlled manner with minimal disruption to production environments
• Support infrastructure lifecycle planning, including maintenance, upgrades, patching, and technology refresh initiatives for plant systems

Requirements

Required competencies and certifications

• Hands-on experience supporting plant/OT infrastructure within PCS and MOM/MES environments
• Proficient in Windows Server administration and endpoint troubleshooting to sustain system availability
• Proven expertise managing Nutanix and VMware virtualization platforms for efficient resource utilization
• Solid understanding of network technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, and switch troubleshooting to maintain connectivity
• Experience supporting industrial networking and remote production or plant site infrastructure
• Knowledgeable in incident, problem, and change management processes to ensure effective IT service delivery
• Skilled in collaborating with cross-functional teams including operations, vendors, infrastructure, and cybersecurity to resolve issues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex infrastructure challenges
• Excellent technical documentation, communication, and operational handover capabilities to facilitate smooth transitions
• ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent understanding of IT service management practices

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Professional proficiency in English to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders
• Professional proficiency fluency in Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) to effectively support and communicate with Mandarin-speaking plant operations personnel, business users, and vendors in the course of work.
