Java Developer

At 2N, we are building the future of building access and movement – we develop and manufacture high-end intercoms and access systems that open doors from Dubai to New York. We are looking for an experienced Java Developer for our Audio team, who is not afraid to design solutions independently and come up with their own ideas. You will participate not only in development but also in the analysis and design of new features. We work on Axis Audio Manager Pro – a modern solution for managing and distributing audio content over the internet. You can find our technology, for example, at airports and other large-scale facilities, where it enables the management of thousands of audio devices and the distribution of various announcements to specific zones. You can expect to work on an international project, collaborate with colleagues from Sweden, and have the space to influence where the product goes next. And if you also enjoy audio or music, we have even more reason to meet over coffee.

What will you be doing? Participate in the development of the Axis Audio Manager Pro product – a server-side solution for online audio streaming and mass management of end audio devices (which can be thousands in a single installation). Work in a Czech team (there are 14 of us in our Czech team) while working on an international project in coordination with colleagues in Sweden. Collaborate with back-end developers – database design, processing real time operations in the C programming language – and front-end developers, whom we write in React. If you are interested, there is plenty of room to also focus on the security of this overall solution within the 2N/Axis product family.

What do you need for this? Knowledge of the Java programming language, we currently use Java 25. Knowledge of REST API design. Programming knowledge of SQL, ideally for PostgreSQL. English language at a communicative level, as you will be collaborating with colleagues from Sweden. Additionally, experience with the Spring Boot framework (Spring MVC) will be useful. Orientation in agile development and use of tools such as IntelliJ IDEA, JIRA, Confluence, GitLab CI or GIT will also be an advantage, but you can learn those quickly if needed.
