ICT Infrastructure Engineer/Technician (network engineer)

What it is about We are looking for a network engineer who enjoys having infrastructure truly under control. You will join Vašek Tušek (IT Manager) in a team of four people, where everyone has their own area and at the same time has each other's backs. The integration of 2N into the Axis environment is underway. You will therefore work on real migrations, rollouts, and connecting networks across countries - this is not just maintenance, but also building. And you will be in daily contact with the network and security teams of Axis in Sweden. This will give you the opportunity to learn a lot. And the good thing is that no on-call duties await you in this role. Our own products are network devices. You will see them not only in our infrastructure but also in the buildings you walk past every day.

What you will be doing Manage and configure network infrastructure – VPN, VLAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, segmentation Design and implement network solutions locally and within the global Axis infrastructure Monitor network performance and security and resolve incidents at L2/L3 level Participate in the integration of 2N into the Axis environment (network, identity, access) Participate in infrastructure projects – migrations, rollouts, integrations Manage selected applications Write and maintain technical documentation and collaborate with IT Service Delivery on escalated incidents You will be responsible for the stability and availability of network services, their security, and correct segmentation.

What you need to have You already have practical experience in IT infrastructure and are not a complete junior Knowledge of network technologies – TCP/IP, VLAN, routing, VPN Experience with the configuration of switches, firewalls, and access points Knowledge of network security and segmentation Analytical thinking - you know how to analyze a problem, not just restart it Independence and a desire to work in a small team where people complement each other English at a good communication level A desire to use AI tools for diagnostics, documentation, and routine automation – for us, it is a supported path, not a taboo
