Your tasks

As an Embedded Developer in our application development team, you’ll design, build and test efficient, high-quality firmware for premium access control devices and like on any connected product today, help us meet security requirements and regulation.

You’ll work with engineers from the application team who create the interfaces for our intercom devices, close to the hardware and with real impact on products people rely on.

What you´ll do

• Design, build and test efficient, high-quality embedded code
• Take part in task analysis and breakdown
• Review code and have your own reviewed
• Document your work so others can build on it
• Collaborate with other teams on various projects
• Apply Security by Design and Secure by Default principles, and take part in security reviews, threat modeling and fixing findings from testing and audits
• Vulnerability management, SBOM maintenance and secure update mechanisms

Requirements

• C – you’re proficient and write it with care
• Hands-on RTOS experience
• Solid understanding of embedded development, compilation and standard MCU modules and interfaces (timers, DMA, USART, I2C, …)
• Ability to write optimized code within hardware constraints
• Strong diagnostic skills – you find and fix software bugs
• Proficiency with Git
• Experience with secure development practices
• Working English
• Team-player habits: you follow team standards, give and receive code review, and write clear documentation
• Experience with AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) to accelerate C/C++ development and debugging
