24Hrs City Florist and Miiv Flora are Singapore-based floral businesses offering fresh flower arrangements, bouquets, hampers and floral gifts for various occasions. Miiv Flora serves customers from our heartland retail outlet in Ang Mo Kio, while 24Hrs City Florist specialises in online floral gifting and islandwide delivery.
Your tasks
We are seeking a hands-on and organised Floral Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of both outlets, primarily based at 24Hrs City Florist.
This role combines floristry expertise with team leadership, operational planning and quality control. The successful candidate will ensure smooth daily operations, effective coordination between both outlets, consistent product quality and excellent customer service.
1. Daily Operations & Logistics
- Oversee daily operations across both outlets, ensuring efficient workflows and timely order fulfilment.
- Coordinate order processing, production planning, delivery arrangements and logistics.
- Ensure sufficient manpower and resources to support daily operations and peak-season demand.
- Maintain operational procedures, proper handovers and a clean, organised working environment.
2. Floristry & Quality Assurance
- Create floral arrangements, bouquets, hampers and other floral products according to customer requirements and company standards.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure product freshness, presentation, accuracy and workmanship.
- Guide the team in maintaining consistent quality across both outlets.
- Develop new floral designs and product ideas to support sales and business growth.
3. Team Management & Scheduling
- Prepare staff rosters and coordinate manpower deployment across both locations.
- Train, guide and supervise florists, retail assistants and junior team members.
- Monitor staff performance, productivity and adherence to SOPs.
- Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture, leading by example.
4. Inventory & Cost Control
- Manage flower purchasing, stock replenishment and inventory of floral materials and supplies.
- Ensure proper flower care, storage and stock rotation to minimise wastage.
- Monitor inventory, flower wastage and operational expenses, identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs.
5. Customer Service & Administration
- Oversee customer enquiries, online and walk-in orders, customisation requests and service recovery.
- Maintain accurate records of orders, sales, payments, supplier invoices and delivery claims.
- Prepare operational updates and reports, and support administrative and bookkeeping requirements.
6. Marketing & Business Support
- Support product launches, seasonal promotions, social media content and marketing initiatives.
- Assist with corporate gifting, wedding and event enquiries, including floral consultation and quotations.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer experience and sales performance.
Requirements
- Experience in floristry, floral retail or a related industry; supervisory or operations experience is an advantage.
- Strong floral design skills and a commitment to delivering quality work.
- Good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to lead, train and coordinate a team while working independently.
- Proactive, responsible and solution-oriented, with strong ownership and initiative.
- Familiarity with inventory management, cost control and basic computer applications.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Willingness to work across both outlets, including weekends, public holidays and peak floral seasons such as Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.
