C Driver – Day Routes with Occasional Night Routes

Job description

What does the job involve?

You are responsible for transporting packages, pallets, and other goods, ensuring that everything is delivered safely, correctly, and on time to customers.

You will mainly work on national day routes, giving you a clear and predictable schedule.

In addition, we expect flexibility: when a colleague is on holiday, you will occasionally cover a night shift as a replacement. These are also fixed routes and usually run from 9:00 PM to 5:00 or 6:00 AM.

Furthermore:

• You are responsible for loading and unloading goods.
• You use a scanner for receiving and shipping.
• You ensure that your truck remains clean and technically in good condition.
• You may take the truck home with you.

What does your day look like?

• You usually start around 5:30 AM.
• Your workday generally ends around 4:00 PM, so you still have time to enjoy your evening.
• In exceptional cases, when replacing a colleague during holidays, you will drive a night route from 9:00 PM until approximately 5:00 or 6:00 AM.

What do we expect from you?

• Category C driving licence with the required certifications
• Flexible attitude, willing to drive night shifts when needed
• Good knowledge of Dutch
• Experience is a plus
• Customer-friendly and a good team player

Requirements

• You hold a Category C driving licence and a valid driver card.
