Supply Technician
About the Position: You will serve as Supply Technician in support of the Supply Support Activity (SSA) and varied supply operations. Providing property control, asset visibility and performing a wide variety of supply program support functions.
Major duties
- Provide property account services to customers.
- Provide technical support of supply and property functions for accurate property management.
- Use automated systems to assist customers with information regarding property accountability and equipment authorizations.
- Conduct research to resolve discrepancies to affect accuracy of property records.
- Prepare reconciliation documents for property or stocks which do not match accountable records.
- Coordinate with other activities for the acquisition of new property and disposal of excess property.
- Issue and / or receive equipment using automated supply management systems such as Standard Army information Management System (STAMIS).
- Prepare reconciliations documents for property or stocks which do not match accountable records.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: : Managing property accountability logs; Utilizing various automated supply systems to perform property accountability functions; providing technical support of supply and property functions for accurate property management; AND reviewing supply requisitions for proper authorization utilizing integrated systems such as The Army Authorization Documents System (TAADS). Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-06).
