About the Position: You will serve as the Host Nation Specialist for the Headquarters 21st Theater Sustainment Command and you will be responsible for the coordination of logistic support requirements in collaboration and coordination with Host Nation, Allies, and other governmental organizations.

Major duties

  • Brief management officials on recommendations, actions, and responsibilities required to accomplish objectives.
  • Participate in Pre-deployment Site Surveys (PDSS) for analysis, development, and support of Logistic Support, Supplies, and Service (LSSS).
  • Develop host nation support concepts, estimates, appendices, and annexes for contingency operations.
  • Collaborate with internal and external customers to identify logistical supply support requirements and issues/problems areas of improvement.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes implementing Logistic Support, Supplies, and Services; AND developing of support concepts utilizing understanding of mission requirements; AND supporting plans or developing of contingency operations (CONPLAN); AND demonstrating the ability to identify or draft requirements documentation. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
