Senior / Lead Software Security Architect (SharePoint)

We are looking for an experienced Software Security Architect with a strong, technical background. We do not care about a fancy title on a CV — we are looking for someone who actually designs secure systems and applications from scratch, conducts in-depth architecture analysis for vulnerabilities, defines security standards, and works closely with development teams on a daily basis.

Engagement terms: Area: public EU Location: 100% remote Travel: none Start: ASAP (we accept candidates with a max 3-month availability to start) Rate (determined individually): 220 - 230 PLN net + VAT / h Engagement: B2B (outsourcing via 1dea), full-time, long-term (12msc+)

Daily tasks

• Design and architecture: Practical design of secure systems and applications in accordance with Security & Privacy by Design / Default principles.
• Analysis and audit: Auditing and scrutinizing application architecture for security and detecting weak points.
• Standards and requirements: Defining hard requirements, policies, and security standards for the software being created.
• Collaboration with developers: Close work with development and IT teams (tech lead / guidance) — translating security requirements into specific architectural and code guidelines.
• SharePoint environment protection: Architecture and securing solutions based on the SharePoint platform and its dedicated tools.
• Resilience and risk: Eliminating single points of failure and selecting appropriate protection mechanisms (cryptography, access control).

Requirements

Requirements: Strong technical experience: Documented, real work at the software security architecture level (beyond just the job title). IT tenure: Min. 10 years of general IT experience and min. 8 years of work as a Security Architect or in a similar, highly technical position. Education: Higher education (Master's, Engineering, or equivalent). English language: Fluent communication in an international environment (min. B2). Certifications: Recognized industry certifications in the field of cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CSSLP, CISM or similar). Security clearance: Current Security Clearance or no contraindications to obtaining one.

Nice to have: SharePoint expertise: Practical, expert knowledge of the specifics and tools of the SharePoint platform in terms of secure architecture. Secure SDLC practice: Excellent knowledge of the secure software development lifecycle and reference models. Trend tracking: Stay up to date with the latest threats, technologies, and trends in the app sec area. Soft skills: Great communication and the ability to build bridges between dev teams, architects, and the business.
