For our client, we are looking for an AWS Developer at a Senior or Lead level, who will join a team developing a modern, cloud-native platform. We are looking for someone who enjoys hands-on development, feels comfortable in an AWS environment, and wants to have a real impact on product development. The position level - Senior or Lead AWS Developer - will be matched to the candidate's experience and autonomy.

Engagement terms:

Location: 100% remote Start: ASAP (we accept candidates with a max 1-month notice period) Rate (determined individually): 130 - 175 PLN net / h Engagement: B2B (outsourcing with 1dea), full-time, long-term

Daily tasks

  • Development and maintenance of the backend based on AWS and Python.
  • Designing and developing data processing pipelines, including using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and Databricks.
  • Creating and developing infrastructure in the Infrastructure as Code model – Terraform / CloudFormation.
  • Development of API based on GraphQL / AWS AppSync.
  • Collaboration on the frontend in React / TypeScript, within the scope matched to the project's needs.
  • Participation in architecture design, code review, and solving technical problems.
  • Ensuring the quality, testability, and security of the created solution.
  • In the case of the Lead level - additional technical support and mentoring of less experienced developers, as well as participation in architectural decision-making.

Requirements

Min. 5 years of commercial experience in software development - for the Senior level. Min. 8 years of experience - for the Lead level. Very good knowledge of AWS, especially: Lambda, Step Functions, S3, DynamoDB, IAM.

Practical experience with Python and creating testable, high-quality code. Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation. Knowledge of working with distributed systems and event-driven architecture. Ability to independently diagnose problems in an AWS environment - from Lambda logs to Step Functions execution history and data in DynamoDB. English at a min. B2/C1 level - daily communication in an international project environment.
