We are looking for a Jira Site Administrator who will be responsible for the administration and development of the Jira Cloud environment used by many teams and projects. We are looking for someone who knows the Atlassian ecosystem well, can independently configure Jira Cloud, and simultaneously understands the needs of business users.

Daily tasks

  • Administration and ongoing maintenance of Jira Cloud and related Atlassian products.
  • Configuration of projects, workflow, schemes, screens, custom fields, issue types, permissions, and automation.
  • Management of users, groups, roles, and system access.
  • Ensuring the security, stability, and consistency of the Jira environment.
  • Creating and developing administrative standards and governance rules for the entire platform.
  • Analyzing existing configurations and identifying opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Collaborating with Product Owners, Delivery Managers, Scrum Masters, and business representatives to translate their needs into Jira solutions.
  • Configuration of dashboards, reports, and views supporting project management and monitoring work progress.
  • Preparing and updating documentation, procedures, and materials for users.
  • Conducting training and supporting users in the effective use of Atlassian tools.

Requirements

The candidate should have several years of practical experience in Jira Cloud administration. They should be very familiar with the configuration and administration capabilities of Jira. Experience working with large Jira environments, covering many teams and projects, is required. The candidate should have practical knowledge of: Jira Cloud Administration, workflow design and optimization, permission and access management, Jira Automation, dashboard and report configuration, user and group management, the Atlassian ecosystem.

Basic knowledge of REST API and Jira integrations with other systems is welcome. The ability to independently manage administrative topics and initiate improvements is important. Very good knowledge of the English language.
