Senior Drupal Developer

We are looking for an experienced person for the position of Senior Drupal Developer, who will be responsible for the development and implementation of digital platforms based on Drupal - from content structure and CMS configuration to the creation of components and solutions supporting convenient user experiences. In this position, you will combine technical knowledge with an understanding of information architecture, content management, and user needs. You will collaborate with UX/UI, content, and business analyst teams, as well as client-side stakeholders, participating in the implementation of complex, often international digital projects.

Location: 100% remote Start: ASAP (we accept candidates with a max 1-month notice period) Rate (determined individually): 140 - 160 PLN net / h Engagement: B2B (outsourcing with 1dea), full-time, long-term

Daily tasks

• Development and configuration of services and digital platforms based on Drupal.
• Creation and development of content structures, templates, views, and reusable components.
• Translating information architecture, UX/UI designs, and content models into functional solutions in Drupal.
• Collaboration with UX/UI designers, content designers, business analysts, and communication teams.
• Supporting editorial processes, content management, quality control, and publication of materials in the CMS.
• Working in an iterative model - participating in testing, gathering feedback from users and stakeholders, and further improving solutions.
• Applying best practices in code and configuration management, including Git, code review, documentation, and release processes.
• Supporting the team in preparing solution concepts and client offers by providing knowledge and recommendations regarding Drupal.

Requirements

Minimum 4 years of experience working with Drupal. Very good knowledge of Drupal and practical experience in CMS configuration and development. Knowledge of, among others, content types, taxonomy, views, menus, roles & permissions, configuration management, and publishing workflows. Experience working with PHP, Twig, Composer, Drush, and Git. Practical experience in creating content-heavy platforms, portals, knowledge services, digital toolkits, or public websites. Ability to collaborate in teams combining technological, UX, content, business analysis, and communication competencies. Ability to make independent technical decisions and communicate them clearly to non-technical people. Very good knowledge of English, minimum B2/C1.
