Dental Surgery Assistant

Roles & Responsibilities

Dental Assistant:

Assist the Dentist during dental treatments and procedures

Maintaining overall hygiene standard

Assist dentist to prep patients for X-ray

Disinfect and sterilize instruments and equipment's

Perform general housekeeping to ensure cleanliness of treatment rooms

Maintain appropriate levels of dental supplies in clinic

Prepare materials, dental instruments, and equipment's as required

Prepare cases to be sent out to third party Labs

Attend to incoming calls and provide customer service for patients at front desk

Admit and discharge patients

Provide post-operative care for patients after procedures

Schedule patient’s appointments

Register and maintain patient’s account by recording medical and personal information data

Requirements:

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Motivated to provide exceptional care to patients

Minimum Secondary School/'O' Level or Nitec

Able to work in a team and multitask

Warm, caring and cheerful personality

Responsible and willing to learn

Relevant experience preferred but not necessary.

Training provided for candidates with no experience if you are a good fit for the company
