You keep the purchasing administration strictly organized. As a Purchasing Assistant, you check orders and deliveries and ensure clear coordination with colleagues and suppliers.

What will you do?

You effortlessly maintain an overview and get energy from interacting with many different people. With your accuracy and communication skills, you ensure that our purchasing processes run smoothly.

As a Purchasing Assistant, you are the pillar of support for your colleagues within Purchasing. You ensure tight administration and maintain the overview. And that is important, because with a large assortment and many suppliers, it is essential that everything runs like clockwork.

A glimpse into your activities:

• Checking delivery statuses and following up on (delayed) orders
• Coordinating with Planning & Control to ensure deliveries are correct and complete
• Checking order confirmations for quantities, prices, and addresses
• Identifying and resolving discrepancies in contact with suppliers
• Managing the purchasing mailbox and maintaining supplier contact

In this role, you are a true central figure. You interact frequently with colleagues and suppliers, where communication in English occurs regularly. Thanks to your commitment, the purchasing process runs smoothly and efficiently.
