*Female Health Care Aide / Caregiver ? Palliative & Dementia Care*

*Location:* Bearspaw, Rocky View County, AB *Pay:* Range $20.00- $24.60/Hours (Contract Position) *Start Date:* Immediate

*#1 AAA Home Care Services* is currently seeking a compassionate, dependable, and experienced *Female Health Care Aide/Caregiver* to provide one-on-one care for a client in a private home located in *Bearspaw, Rocky View County*.

*Please Note:* This location is *not accessible by public transit.* Applicants *must have a reliable vehicle and be willing to drive* to and from the client's home.

Schedule

• *Days:* Monday to Friday
• *Hours:* 9:00 AM ? 3:30 PM (6.5-hour shifts)
• Immediate start available

About the Client

You will be caring for a female client who requires:

• Severe dementia care
• End-of-life (palliative) care
• Total care
• Two-person transfers and assistance
• Compassionate, patient, and dignified support throughout all aspects of daily living

A *female caregiver is preferred* to best meet the client's care needs.

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide Certificate (or equivalent experience)
• Experience providing dementia and palliative care
• Comfortable providing total personal care
• Able to work effectively as part of a two-person care team
• Reliable, compassionate, and professional
• Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle (*required*)
• Fluent in English (*required*)
• German language skills are considered a strong asset
• Must be comfortable working in a home with a dog

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Calgary, AB T3R 1C9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

• Home care: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• registration with the CLHA? (required)
• HCA (required)

Work Location: In person
