WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

YOUR ROLE:

Reporting hierarchically to the Accounting Manager, the assistant fulfills their mission in compliance with internal procedures with the permanent objective of improving the quality of accounting information and meeting deadlines.

YOUR MISSIONS:

• ASSIST THE ACCOUNTING MANAGER in the supervision of accounting activities (general accounting, subsidiary ledger).
• PARTICIPATE IN MONTHLY AND ANNUAL CLOSING: control of accounts, preparation of financial statements.
• ASSIST IN THE SUPERVISION OF THE ACCOUNTING TEAM: distribution of tasks, training of employees, monitoring of deadlines.
• OPTIMIZE ACCOUNTING PROCESSES AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT: automation, improvement of tools, reduction of error risks.
• ENSURE THE LINK between accounting and other departments (finance, HR, purchasing, fleet management...).
• CONTRIBUTE TO AUDITS AND CONTROLS (internal and external) and to cross-functional projects (important links with the Accounting/Finance Project Manager).

YOUR PROFILE

Coming from an accounting background (Bac +3 to Bac+5), you have at least 3 years of experience, including several years in project management.

You are proficient in accounting software (SAP) as well as office tools (advanced Excel). You are familiar with accounting standards (PCG, IFRS) and tax obligations. You are capable of analyzing data and proposing improvements.

You possess great interpersonal skills and a good ability to adapt.

You demonstrate rigor and initiative. You know how to be autonomous, versatile, and work in a team in order to manage projects.

You have a B2 level (written and oral) in English.
