In Panningen, we develop machines that contribute to the production of bread all over the world. Smart, innovative technology that helps industrial bakeries perform better every day.
With us, it is about more than just technology. We want to get better every day, take responsibility for our performance, and together realize solutions that our customers worldwide can rely on.

Your tasks
As a Mechanical Engineer at WP Haton, you will conceive and develop mechanical solutions that find their way around the world. You will work on machines that are becoming increasingly smarter, better, and more efficient. With your ideas, you help advance our technology and contribute to more efficient production and the reduction of food waste.
What will you do? You translate technical challenges into smart, manufacturable solutions. In doing so, you look beyond just the design: you think about how we can build our machines smarter, standardize them, and continuously improve them.
- Design and develop – You work out mechanical solutions for our innovative dough processing installations, tailored to the needs of our customers.
- Smarter standardization – You contribute to the modularization of our machines. This makes our technology more efficient, consistent, and future-proof.
- Continuous innovation and improvement – You optimize existing designs and our drawing package and are open to new ideas and changing insights.
- Realizing results together – You work closely with colleagues from, among others, Sales Engineering, Purchasing, Assembly, and Service. You share knowledge, respect each other's expertise, and work together to find the best solution.
- Taking responsibility – You think beyond your own design and take into account quality, manufacturability, costs, and performance in practice.
Requirements
In addition, you bring
- A HBO degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical education.
- Experience with and knowledge of SOLIDWORKS.
- Good technical and communicative skills.
- A practical, customer-oriented, and solution-oriented attitude.
- The motivation to continue developing yourself technically and personally.
- A good command of the English language. German is a plus.
You don't have to excel in everything right away. More importantly, you want to learn, take responsibility, and want to build further with us with the right attitude.
World-class: the bar is high.
- Customer comes first – You delve into the needs of the customer and look for solutions that add real value in practice.
- Innovation and adaptability – You are curious, dare to challenge existing solutions, and move along with new technologies and insights.
- Responsibility for performance – You take ownership of your work, honor agreements, and keep searching for a better result.
