Your tasks

As a Cloud Backend Developer (Full Stack), you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of talented developers to design and deliver the architecture and services of a modern web software (including 2D and 3D views, asset management, as well as a photo/video media library) for one of our visual inspection products. You will play a key role both technically and in leadership, combining hands-on expertise in cloud architecture and infrastructure, distributed systems design, programming, and complex problem-solving, while mentoring team members and establishing strong technical direction.

Working closely with the development team, your main responsibilities will include making architectural decisions on Azure, supervising and contributing to the development of backend services in TypeScript (NestJS), as well as coordinating technical execution within the team. Participation in the frontend development of the web application (Angular 21+ and TypeScript) is an asset. You must demonstrate commitment, proactivity, resourcefulness, and great attention to detail, while fostering high quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement within the team. Excellent mastery of the Azure environment, TypeScript, and NestJS is required, as well as solid knowledge of frontend web development and demonstrated leadership skills.

Your responsibilities

• Actively collaborate in the definition and implementation of cross-platform web software as part of product development.
• Work with the following backend technologies: SQL, NestJS, Azure, Azure Blob Storage.
• Work with the following frontend technologies: HTML, SCSS, TypeScript, Angular 21+, RxJS, Electron.
• Work with the following cloud infrastructure technologies: Terraform, Kubernetes.
• Design and develop APIs and microservices.
• Implement DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
• Participate in software development in collaboration with other developers.
• Ensure quality control of integrated content, its adaptive and cross-platform compliance through automated testing.
• Provide technical support to team members by resolving complex issues, providing guidance, and sharing best practices.
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to understand their technical and functional needs, and ensure clear and effective communication on work progress.

Requirements

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Advanced level in TypeScript and NestJS.
• Intermediate level in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, SCSS, and Angular 21+.
• Knowledge of Azure, its resources, and microservices architectures, required.
• Knowledge of databases, required.
• Knowledge of Electron and Ionic, an asset.
• General knowledge of CI/CD practices.
• Knowledge of one or more unit testing frameworks, an asset.
• Knowledge of JIRA, GitLab, and GIT.
• Advanced English to collaborate with international stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies, best practices, and quality standards.
• Ability to solve complex technical problems and make informed decisions quickly and effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, customers, and stakeholders.
• Passion for technology, with constant monitoring of industry trends, new development practices, and emerging technologies.
