What awaits you:

• You analyze and evaluate business requirements in accordance with the Demand Management process and translate them into solution designs.
• You develop technical concepts for complex challenges and prepare decision templates for domain and cross-domain committees.
• You manage projects throughout their entire lifecycle and coordinate as well as control suppliers during the design, development, and implementation phases in accordance with the Delivery Management process.
• You are responsible for effective Release Management and Capacity Management of the assigned systems.
• You ensure the delivery of projects/programs within the time, quality, and budget framework.
• You actively evaluate opportunities to optimize the design and delivery process and propose corresponding improvement measures.
• You efficiently monitor and control external suppliers and align the product timeline with the business and domain strategy.
• You continuously align business strategies with the roadmap for solutions and products and actively advise business stakeholders on how innovative solutions can contribute to increasing efficiency and cost optimization.
• You provide targeted support to users and contribute to achieving company goals.
• You regularly represent the department in various internal committees as well as towards partners for the coordination and implementation of process changes.
• You actively support the maintenance and further development of the processing tools used by fulfillment and service units.

What distinguishes you:

• Successfully completed (technical) university degree in the fields of telecommunications, computer science, or a comparable course of study.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in telecommunications or IT.
• Very good knowledge of IT standards (e.g., ITIL, eTOM), project management methods (e.g., PRINCE2), and agile working methods (e.g., Scrum, Design Thinking).
• Proven track record in managing large and complex projects and programs.
• Good knowledge of innovative technologies such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
• Strong conceptual and analytical way of thinking and working.
• Goal- and team-oriented way of working, high empathy, and cultural awareness.
• Strong leadership competence for the significant shaping of specialized topics and strategic concepts, tailored to the target group.
• High flexibility and resilience, even under high pressure.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong customer focus as well as a systemic way of working.
• Ability to work in multifunctional and multicultural teams to achieve excellent results and to initiate and drive changes.
• Very good English skills.

This position can be performed full-time or near full-time part-time (at least 30 hours).

We are filling this position at the Düsseldorf location for Vodafone GmbH.
