What awaits you:

• As a Senior Expert Cloud Data Engineer (m/f/d), you optimize cloud processes with regard to costs (e.g., through the use of Preemptible Instances), runtime, and stability.
• You analyze technical requirements and develop solution designs for complex platform and data architectures in the cloud (Google Cloud, AWS, Private Cloud).
• You implement DevSecOps methods and processes.
• You take on a leadership or expert role in projects, for example as a Technical Product Owner.
• You guide junior colleagues (onshore and offshore) in the development of cloud solutions.

What distinguishes you:

• Successfully completed studies in (Business) Informatics, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable qualification.
• At least five years of practical experience in Big Data or cloud development.
• Certification as Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer as well as further in-depth certifications, for example as Cloud Architect or Machine Learning Engineer (or comparable AWS certifications).
• Very good knowledge of a cloud platform (Google Cloud Platform or AWS).
• Deep experience with serverless infrastructures as well as the construction and operation of Docker containers and container orchestration solutions such as Kubernetes, Podman, or Minikube.
• Very good English skills in speaking and writing (B2 according to GER).

This position can be held full-time or near full-time part-time (min. 30 hours).
