As a Manager, you will take on functional responsibility for the stable and secure operation of a mission-critical platform for data integration and data processing within the Vodafone data landscape. In doing so, you will further develop the service and operating model and work closely with DevSecOps, infrastructure, security, and operations teams - both nationally and internationally - to ensure reliable and future-proof platform operation.

What to expect:

• As a Manager, you will take on functional responsibility for the stable and secure operation of the platform across all relevant environments and ensure reliable operational and support capability - including 24/7 on-call duty for critical incidents.
• You will coordinate and manage the VFDE OGG DevSecOps team: You will create a reliable operational framework, structure responsibilities, and strengthen ownership, quality, collaboration, as well as knowledge transfer and support capability.
• You will manage change, release, and incident processes together with DevSecOps, infrastructure, security, and operations teams and ensure clear escalation paths as well as sustainable processing of disruptions, risks, and operational dependencies.
• You will further develop the service and operating model with a view to stability, security, compliance, and sustainable operational capability, setting cross-team guardrails and quality standards for this purpose.
• You will monitor compliance with architecture and development specifications for your systems and create retirement and replacement recommendations to realize efficiency and cost advantages.
• You will work closely in aligned agile and operational formats with the platform-responsible roles (Service Owner, PM/PO) as well as relevant stakeholders - up to HAL level. In doing so, you will contribute operational and technical assessments in a structured manner and ensure transparency regarding risks, dependencies, operational capability, and readiness. In this way, you create a resilient basis for sound decisions and coordinated implementation in the operational context.

What distinguishes you:

• Completed studies in computer science, engineering, or mathematics.
• At least 5-7 years of professional experience in IT solution design, software application development, and/or IT project management.
• Several years of experience in collaborating with and managing external solution partners.
• Several years of experience in collaborating with and managing external solution partners, as well as sound knowledge in ITIL, Service Management, Lifecycle Management, and Cyber Security.
• Ability to lead and coordinate cross-hierarchical and/or international project teams, as well as strong communication skills at working and management levels.
• Structured, solution-oriented way of working and high degree of personal responsibility, as well as above-average proficiency in methodological, social, and leadership competencies.
• Business fluent English skills in speaking and writing (C1 according to GER).

This position can be held full-time or near full-time part-time (at least 30 hours).
