In a context of profound transformation of the marketing / sales / services triad by technology and AI, WPP Enterprise Solutions is strengthening its Martech expertise hub to support major French and international brands in their transition towards data-driven and customer-centric organizations.
The Martech Practice Lead is a key player in this transformation. Their mission is to make the practice a lever for growth and differentiation for WPP Enterprise Solutions and for the entire WPP group, by relying on a leading technological ecosystem (Adobe, Braze, Imagino, Bloomreach, Salesforce…) and on a network of expert talents in France, Morocco, and internationally.
Your missions
Business & Client
Ensure the go-to-market of the Martech offering in connection with technological partners (Braze, Imagino, Adobe, Bloomreach…)
Develop the client portfolio and accounts with multi-expertise potential
Contribute to strategic responses and key files
Manage the sold gross margin and the practice P&L
Build packaged offers and innovative models (freemium, AI agents, data BAV)
Management
Lead and unite a team of 50 collaborators in France and Morocco
Ensure skill development, engagement, and talent retention
Run the practice's management committee and drive collective performance
Connect the team to the international talent networks of VML & WPP
Develop agile and innovative organizational models (crews, shared POs)
Thought Leadership
Embody Martech expertise in the French market (speaking engagements, events, publications)
Produce benchmarks, studies, and reference content (LinkedIn, articles, op-eds)
Engage in top2top interactions with CxO clients and prospects
Organize and host reference CX events (2 per year)
Represent VML Consulting in partner forums and influence circles
Profile sought
Minimum 10 years of experience in Martech, CRM, or Digital Marketing Technology
Solid technical expertise in Martech platforms (CDP, Marketing Automation, Personalization, Analytics)
Proven experience in a role combining business development and client delivery
Experience managing multicultural and multi-site teams (ideally France + offshore)
Knowledge of the consulting agency or ESN market is a real plus
Data-driven approach and results orientation
Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology
Mastery of go-to-market and consultative selling
Offer vision and solution engineering
Inspiring & unifying leadership
Strong commercial sense and interpersonal skills
Comfort in a matrix and international environment
Impact and transformation orientation
Bilingual English
