Responsibilities and duties

• Ensure strategic tax and fiscal planning and management, guaranteeing the best tax/fiscal intelligence;
• Ensure the proper calculation of taxes and delivery of ancillary obligations;
• Ensure strategic support during inspections;
• Represent VLI in external meetings with public agencies;
• Regularize all of the company's tax/fiscal procedures;
• Evaluate and recommend the company's commercial and structural projects, ensuring the tax/fiscal structure, alignment with the business/corporate model, accounting structure, profitability, and alignment with the company's operational reality;
• Ensure the mapping and design of key tax/fiscal controls for priority and other risks, also using market standards required for the role, aiming at risk mitigation, prevention of financial losses, correction of weaknesses, and standardization of processes, recorded through technical opinions.

Requirements and qualifications

Academic Background – Completed higher education (Accounting or Law).

Specific Knowledge:

• Calculation of federal, state, and municipal taxes;
• People management;
• Tax Planning;
• Tax compliance;
• Ancillary obligations;
• Tax compensation;
• Inspection support;
• Internal and external audit support;
• Tax Legislation;
• Corporate Governance;
• Financial Negotiations;
• Internal Controls;
• Responses to internal and Corporate inquiries;
• Process restructuring and SAP;
• Tax reform.

• Experience in reporting/communication with shareholders and the financial market.
• Intermediate English.
• Reside in Belo Horizonte/MG or metropolitan region.
