The NCE region comprises more than 40 legal entities, including Sweden, Norway, Denmark, United Kingdom, Germany, Netherlands, Austria, Poland, Romania, and Czech Republic. The large number of companies in combination with a centralized finance function requires a structured, flexible, and continuously learning finance team. The regional Finance team in NCE is responsible for Business and Financial Controlling in the region.

Tasks:

  • Leading the BPM Sales team within NCE Finance, reporting to the Senior Vice President, CFO Finance NCE
  • Acting as Finance Business Partner for sales management as well as ensuring effective reporting and clear communication of financial KPIs to support a comprehensive business understanding
  • Promoting data-driven business decisions based on financial analyses, taking into account strategic perspectives as well as compliance with audit and regulatory requirements
  • Providing central financial support for business development initiatives and financial inquiries (e.g., taxes, accounting)
  • Promoting the exchange of best practices and benchmarking within the region
  • Managing risk assessments and approval processes for sales projects (incl. preliminary calculations) according to the "Check-and-Challenge" principle
  • Coordinating and executing planning activities, including forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning
  • Serving as an interface between the Group and the region on financial topics such as reporting, compliance/audit updates, planning processes, and Financial Governance
  • Leading finance-related projects within the framework of business and Group initiatives (e.g., acquisitions, systems, company integrations, end-to-end projects)
  • Conducting high-quality ad-hoc and cross-functional analyses to support decisions in sales management, including risk mitigation strategies

Qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in Finance/Business Finance or a related field, ideally in the renewable energy industry
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or Statistics is an advantage
  • Proven business understanding with the ability to link business decisions to financial results
  • Extensive experience in leading teams and managers
  • Strong interpersonal skills, communication strength, and problem-solving competence
  • Experience in a multinational matrix environment
  • Fluent English skills in speaking and writing; German is a great advantage
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Ability to work effectively in teams, including geographically distributed teams
