PRODUCTION ENGINEER / -MANAGER

Urajärven metalli is a privately owned machine shop founded in 1984, which manufactures, among other things, oil tanks, pressure vessels, steel structures, backup power containers, and Lapamixer concrete mixers. We are expanding our operations in the manufacturing of backup power containers and opening a new factory at Hollola Salpakangas. The new factory will employ approximately 20 people in various production roles. The first employees will start in December, and full-scale operations will begin in February 2027.

We are now seeking a Production Engineer / -Manager for the manufacturing of backup power containers.

You will be one of the first people hired for the new factory, and together with the factory manager, you will get to build the factory's practices and processes. As full-scale production begins, you will focus on material procurement and production quality management, and you will handle various production-related tasks together with the factory manager. In this role, you will report to the factory manager.

What you will do:

• You will purchase and coordinate the timely delivery of production materials from domestic and foreign suppliers.
• You will perform and document final inspections of finished backup power containers.
• You will substitute for the factory manager if necessary.
• You will participate in the preparation and development of production instructions and documents.

• Ability to internalize and manage extensive material lists
• Fluent English language skills
• Ability to undertake occasional business trips to suppliers and data center construction sites
