Technical Lead Command & Control F/H - Unseenlabs
As part of a new position within our embedded software division, your main mission will be to technically and functionally lead the development of the Command & Control functionality of our payloads.
You will supervise a team of embedded software developers, while directly contributing to design and development activities. You will also be the primary interface between the Command & Control team and other departments within the company to ensure the quality, consistency, and proper integration of the developed solutions.
More specifically, you will be in charge of:
Leading the team technically
- Organizing, distributing, and monitoring development activities within the team.
- Leading technical coordination and supporting developers in their work.
- Participating in decision-making and technical arbitration.
- Contributing to the technical qualification, integration, and skill development of new collaborators.
- Ensuring the professional development and technical progression of the team.
Designing and developing Command & Control solutions
- Participating in the design, development, and maintenance activities of embedded software.
- Elaborating and validating the technical design of applications in coordination with architects.
- Developing and evolving software components in C and Python under embedded Linux.
- Diagnosing technical incidents and leading their resolution.
- Ensuring the update of tools, specifications, and technical documentation.
Guaranteeing the quality and integration of developments
- Ensuring the interface between the development team and the Hardware, IT, and Operations departments.
- Ensuring compliance with development standards, quality processes, and validation cycles.
- Supervising the execution of test plans and the writing of associated reports.
- Guaranteeing the integration and compatibility of software components with other subsystems.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of development methods, tools, and practices, notably CI/CD.
- Master's degree (Bac+5) in embedded software, industrial computing, or equivalent with at least 5 years of experience in embedded software development.
- First experience in technical leadership or team management would be an asset.
- Mastery of software architecture, C, Python, embedded Linux, and CI/CD tools.
- Good knowledge of testing, validation, maintenance, and software evolution activities.
- Knowledge of telemetry and telecommand protocols; the PUS protocol is a plus.
- Leadership, rigor, autonomy, pedagogy, synthesis skills, and professional English.
