Your tasks

  • Designing comprehensive architecture for eCommerce, Marketplace, and digital platforms, covering the application, integration, data, and infrastructure layers.
  • Analyzing business requirements and translating them into scalable, secure, and efficient technological solutions.
  • Selecting platforms, technologies, and architectural patterns that best meet client needs, taking into account business and organizational aspects.
  • Designing architecture based on composable commerce, headless, API-first, event-driven, and microservices approaches.
  • Designing integrations between sales platforms and ERP, OMS, PIM, WMS, CRM, CDP, payment, and logistics systems.
  • Defining architectural standards, non-functional requirements, and strategies regarding security, performance, scalability, and system reliability.
  • Collaborating with Delivery, Product, Development, and DevOps teams during planning and implementation.
  • Conducting architectural and discovery workshops with clients, preparing architectural documentation, and technological recommendations.
  • Acting as a technical project leader, supporting teams in making key decisions, and ensuring implementation compliance with the adopted architecture.
  • Identifying technical risks, proposing corrective actions, and supporting the organization in making strategic technological decisions.
  • Supporting presales activities, participating in the preparation of solution concepts, estimations, and client offers.

Requirements

🧡You will fit in perfectly if you*

  • Have at least 5 years of experience as a Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or Senior Developer with responsibility for designing eCommerce system architecture.
  • Have practical experience in designing and implementing B2C, B2B, D2C, or Marketplace e-commerce solutions and a good understanding of sales, logistics, and customer service processes.
  • Can design modern architectures based on composable commerce, headless, API-first, and microservices approaches.
  • Have experience with e-commerce platforms. Knowledge of Commercetools or VTEX will be a great asset, but we also value experience gained on other platforms such as Magento (Adobe Commerce), Shopware, Sylius, or similar solutions.
  • Understand integration architecture and have designed solutions integrating sales platforms with ERP, OMS, PIM, WMS, CRM, CDP, and payment and logistics systems.
  • Possess practical knowledge in API design (REST, GraphQL, event-driven architecture, asynchronous communication).
  • Have experience in designing cloud and infrastructure solutions, including Kubernetes, containerization, CI/CD, monitoring, security, high availability, and system scalability.
  • Have a good understanding of issues related to performance, caching (CDN, Redis, Varnish, HTTP Cache), system observability, and web application optimization.
  • Know relational and non-relational databases and can make informed architectural decisions regarding data storage and processing.
  • Have experience working with modern frontend technologies and headless architecture (e.g., React, Next.js, Vue, Nuxt).
  • Can lead architectural and analytical workshops, effectively communicate technical decisions, and build consensus between business and technical teams.
  • Possess leadership competencies, can influence the technical direction of a project, support teams in implementing the adopted architecture, and drive the successful implementation of designed solutions.
  • Communicate fluently in English, both during client meetings and in technical documentation.

  • Have experience with Commercetools or VTEX platforms.
  • Have cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP) or architectural certifications.
  • Have experience in designing and implementing marketplace solutions, e.g., using Mirakl technology.
  • Have experience in presales, preparing offers, and conducting discovery.
