Job-ID: J000006818 Type of employment: Temporary Working hours: Full-time/Part-time Apply by: 24.08.2026 Company division: Deanery – Research area Activity area: Management & Administration
What defines the position
A core area of university medicine is translational research, in which results from basic research are transferred into new preventive, therapeutic, or diagnostic procedures for application in humans. For a successful translation process, close interaction between basic research, clinical research, and university healthcare is required, where physicians, natural scientists, and researchers from different disciplines work closely together. The common goal of all is the continuous and sustained improvement of the treatment of affected patients.
The Prodekanat für Klinische Forschung und Translation (PfKFT) supports translational research and thus the clinical researchers at UKE in carrying out their projects. The Clinical Trial Office is the central contact point for study sites for operational questions in clinical trials and supports their GCP-compliant implementation. The Local Contact Point (LoKon) in the NUM SN (Netzwerk Universitätsmedizin Studiennetzwerk) was established at the site as an administrative body to support the location and to represent the NUM SN on-site. The LoKon support the networking of the NUM specialist networks and coordinate study inquiries and feasibility analyses through the first contact point.

- You strengthen the UKE-internal networking and thus optimize the processes within the NUM SN at the site.
- You collect and catalog the site-specific resources, requirements, and infrastructures in relation to clinical and clinical-epidemiological studies.
