Main Objective Contribute to the integral formation of students in the Department of Biology through teaching, coordination, and supervision of professional practices, as well as supporting the safe planning and execution of field trips and activities. Likewise, strengthen links with institutions and practice sites, ensuring quality formative experiences and compliance with biosafety, prevention, and risk management protocols. Main Functions Plan and teach courses in Biology and environmental areas, including content, activities, and evaluations. Coordinate and provide academic follow-up for students' professional practices. Identify and manage institutions and sites for professional practices and field activities. Plan and accompany field trips, coordinating logistics, documentation, and corresponding authorizations. Develop and implement biosafety, prevention, and risk mitigation measures. Attend to incidents and unforeseen situations during field activities, applying established protocols. Prepare reports and maintain updated academic, practice, and field activity records.

Academic Profile Bachelor's degree in Biología, Ciencias Ambientales, Ciencias Naturales, or related areas.

Master's or Doctorate, preferably in areas related to Biología, Ciencias Ambientales, Ecología, Ciencias Naturales, Gestión Ambiental, or related disciplines.

Experience or participation in research projects, scientific publications, and academic outreach activities will be valued.

Required Experience Minimum of two (2) years of experience in teaching, preferably at the university level.

Experience teaching courses related to Biología, Ciencias, Medio Ambiente, or related areas.

Desirable experience in advising graduation projects, research projects, or theses.
