HIGHER EDUCATION TEACHER, probationary period

Fixed-term, 12 months, reduced working hours, 32

TASKS

Performs direct, indirect pedagogical, scientific research, artistic, professional, and other work as defined in the general act defining the forms of these works and other acts of UM and its members.

Organizes activities from the previous paragraph.

Collaborates in the design of curricula, updating curricula for subject areas, and adapts study programs and their implementation to the requirements of professional development.

Coordinates and supervises the work of other course providers (assistants, technical, and other collaborators).

Directs research work and study activities of students, provides mentorship to students in the preparation of final theses, specializations, master's, and doctorates.

Actively participates in the scientific research field, studies and develops concepts, theories, and methods, and transfers the results of scientific research work into the study process.

Collaborates in activities related to pedagogical and scientific research work in the field of profession (habilitation, nostrification, professional expertise, etc.).

Implements measures for the safe and healthy work of employees and students, appropriately instructs persons who come into contact with hazardous substances, and informs them about the use of personal protective equipment and other safety measures when performing pedagogical and research work.

Collaborates with companies and other organizations in the implementation of pedagogical and research work.

Performs other tasks that substantively fall within the broader professional field by order of the dean, vice-dean, and head of the department.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE

• Computer skills: MS Windows, Word, Excel, Internet, e-mail, e-business.

REQUIRED SPECIAL CONDITIONS

• Doctor of science, election to an appropriate title.

REQUIRED LANGUAGES

• Active knowledge of one world language.
