Department Manager (Finishing)
- Control and monitor production plans: Manage and monitor the Daily Production Plan to efficiently achieve the specified targets.
- Waste analysis and reduction: Monitor and control the proportion of C-Grade work, as well as perform Root Cause Analysis to determine corrective and preventive measures.
- Machine management: Inspect the operating condition of machinery and coordinate or take corrective action when abnormalities occur to minimize impact on the production line.
- Safety and Occupational Health standards: Supervise the operations of employees within the department to ensure strict compliance with work regulations and safety standards.
- First piece quality certification: Inspect and approve the accuracy of the First Piece/ First Lot Confirmation for each production lot to ensure consistency with the Standard Operation.
- Product quality control: Inspect and control the quality of fabric that has passed through the Finishing process to comply with customer specifications and standards.
- Reporting and communication: Summarize and report the production situation, including machinery abnormalities, to superiors in a systematic and timely manner.
- Environmental management: Promote environmental awareness in the work process and apply environmentally friendly policies or practices within the department.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or higher in Textile Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Management, or other related fields. At least 5-7 years of experience in Manufacturing or industrial plants; at least 3-5 years of experience at the Supervisor or Manager level. Experience in the textile industry (especially the Finishing process) or the automotive industry (Automotive / Airbag) will be given special consideration. Problem Analysis: Knowledge and skills in using quality analysis tools such as QC 7 Tools, Why-Why Analysis, or Root Cause Analysis to solve C-Grade waste problems. Knowledge and understanding of automotive quality management systems (IATF 16949, ISO 9001) and environmental and safety standards (ISO 14001). Production Management: Understanding of Production Planning and Control systems. Leadership Skills: High leadership qualities; able to manage teams, make decisions, and solve immediate problems effectively. Communication Skills: Good skills in communication, Reporting, and cross-departmental coordination. High responsibility, able to work under pressure and achieve specified KPIs. Proficiency in basic computer programs (Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and data summarization. Good English communication skills (reading and writing emails, preparing reports).
