We are expanding our team and are looking for 1 Full-Stack-Developer (m/f/x) Shape the future of time tracking - one line of code at a time!

As a Full-Stack-Developer at TimeTac, you will develop modern and scalable solutions for time tracking - in an agile working environment where your code counts. The focus is on the further development of APIs as well as the frontend, as well as performance optimizations and the implementation of exciting new features.

Your Tasks

• Development and maintenance of both backend and frontend services with a focus on new functions, performance improvements, and updating our tech stack.

• Ensuring code quality and reliability by writing API and unit tests as well as supporting with code reviews.

• Contributing to continuous improvements of the architecture and our tools - we always strive to keep our stack modern and efficient.

• Monitoring and optimizing system performance with tools such as Prometheus, Elasticsearch, and Kibana to analyze logs and metrics.

• Co-shaping technical decisions through active participation in team meetings.

• Active collaboration in an agile environment with a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Your Profile

• Several years of professional experience in backend development with PHP and experience in frontend development with modern frameworks such as React or Angular.

• Experience with the Symfony framework is a nice-to-have.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining RESTful APIs with PHP and MySQL and ideally in implementing frontend logic to use these APIs.

• Passion for test automation as well as practical experience in writing API and unit tests.

• Knowledge in refactoring, performance tuning, and software architectures to ensure maintainable and efficient code.

• Fluent English skills, as this is our working language.

• Analytical thinking and high standards for quality.

• Joy in programming and in collaborating within a team.

Additionally, we use git, JIRA, Slack, and Google Workspace.

The advertised position is available full-time at 38.5 hours per week. The minimum salary for three years of experience in backend development is € 55,356.- gross annually (full-time).
