Credit and Risk Manager - Sofom

What challenges will you face in your day-to-day?

• Lead by example: Coordinate and support the growth of a Credit Assistant.
• Analyze stories, not just numbers: Evaluate credit applications, review client history, and validate financial statements to give the green light to new projects.
• Care for the control desk: Supervise contracts and files in coordination with notary offices before each disbursement.
• Mitigate risks: Design intelligent strategies to prevent credit risks and maintain a healthy portfolio.
• Ensure compliance: Keep everything in order with Anti-Money Laundering (PLD) laws and report transparently to the Management.

What profile are we looking for?

• Your education: Completed Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, or Administration. If you have a postgraduate degree in risks, it's a great plus!
• Your experience: At least 5 years of detailed knowledge of the financial sector (SOFOM, banks, leasing companies, or corporate credit).
• Your basic tools: Intermediate handling of Excel and portfolio management systems.
• Your certifications: It is indispensable to have the PLD/FT certification from the CNBV. (If you have FRM or CRC certification, we would love to know!)
• Languages: An intermediate level of English to communicate fluently.

Additionally, we require:

• Negotiation and excellent conflict management.
• Assertive communication and empathy with staff.
• Decision-making under pressure and great attention to detail.

• Gross salary: $38,000 MXN monthly.

Considerations for our selection process:

To protect the security of the entire team and maintain the transparency that characterizes us, as part of the process we will need:

• Special Credit Bureau Report (we look for people with healthy personal finances!).
• Criminal record clearance letter and excellent presentation.
• Availability to undergo some tests (Socioeconomic study, psychometrics, medical exam, and polygraph test).
