Your daily life: The Cannes site is responsible for the design of satellite systems & platforms, the assembly/integration/test of satellites, as well as in-orbit operations. The site has expertise in optical instrumentation and avionics.

YOUR DAILY LIFE

Within the AITCUO department (Assembly, Integration, and Test of Optical Payloads), the electro-optical performance service aims to: adjust and characterize the performance of space optical instruments.

The Electronics Engineer in Optical AIT for Space optical instruments works in close collaboration with other AIT CUO professions, in a context where the performance obtained through adjustment can only be achieved through work involving all AIT professions (mechanical integration, optical adjustment, electrical, signal processing, detection).

Under the coordination of their Functional Manager:

  • They carry out operational activities related to their project. They write test reports by analyzing the results.
  • They carry out test preparation in interface with architects.
  • They follow the development of ground support equipment and ensure its validation.
  • They may ensure the development of software components.
  • They participate in constructing the team's work plan by estimating the duration and resources of the test for which they are responsible.
  • They may lead a transverse subject for the development of the service (innovation, method, R&T, specification of generic equipment).

YOUR PROFILE

Do you hold a Master's degree (Bac+5) in instrumentation, physical measurements, and/or electrical engineering, and have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position in a complex industrial environment? Do you have skills in Instrumentation, Metrology, and in network/data lake/AI architecture? Do you have knowledge in electrical/avionics/command & control/EGSE architecture? Do you have a global vision of the different phases of an optical payload AIT? Rigorous and proactive, do you master C / JAVA /PYTHON /MATLAB languages? Possessing a good team spirit, are you comfortable in English? Is your expertise in data processing and in SQL data exploitation appreciated?
